Welcome to The Next Holiday Classic

The Next Holiday Classic is a free internet song contest for original holiday and seasonal songs. TNHC showcases songs that may not always be "cutting edge" according to current music trends, but rather, may stand the "test of time" for years to come.

You are invited to submit your entries and compete for a Grand Prize award of $1500 as well as the opportunity to be presented to major label recording artists for inclusion on their 2008 holiday projects.

During each of the three consecutive semi-final weeks beginning November 25, 2007, online voters will determine which songs will advance to the final. The final will then be held the week of December 16, 2007, where the winner of The Next Holiday Classic will be determined. Deadline for song entries is November 24, 2007.

Holiday Classics History
"All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" Written by Donald Yetter Gardner in 1944 while teaching music at public schools in Smithtown, New York. Gardner asked his class what they wanted for Christmas, and noticed that almost all of them had at least one front tooth missing as they answered in a lisp.
